The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC)
Founded in the 1970s, The Natural Resources Defense Council maintains a full team of activities, scientists, businesses and individual supporters who work to preserve the sustainability of natural resources. A nonprofit with an international reach, NRDC works to ensure that everyone has access to clean air and clean water. NRDC also advocates for animals by working to ensure that all species are able to live in healthy wild habitats.
One Tree Planted
Founded in 2014, One Tree Planted is a Vermont-based nonprofit initiative with a simple mission: reforestation. Through their reforestation efforts, One Tree Planted aims to stabilize the climate, create sustainable jobs and foster habitats for biodiversity. In the future, Judy Chantry hopes to work with One Tree Planted as a contributor and potentially as a volunteer.
