From her art work to her professional pursuits — Judy Chantry is a creative individual. She often calls on unique approaches when working to establish truly sustainable and innovative strategies for nonprofit organizations. In her free time, Judy enjoys traveling, collecting art and studying foreign languages. Rooted in an International Politics and Affairs background, she believes that communication is key in all personal and professional pursuits. By studying other languages, she hopes to expand her reach in the nonprofit sector — and beyond. Similarly, she also believes that there are unique communication opportunities in the creative process. That’s why she supports organizations that emphasize the use of art creation as a form of communication, expression and healing.
Education & Training
Judy Chantry established the foundation of her career at Westminster College with the pursuit of her Bachelor of Arts in International Politics. She then continued to refine her focus with a Master of Arts in International Affairs from American University. Studying in Washington, DC enabled her to establish meaningful relationships with some of the nation’s biggest nonprofits. In 2010, Judy achieved a unique accolade via Leadership Champaign County: a Leadership Certificate. This further solidified her expertise as a leader and voice for nonprofits.
Philanthropy & Nonprofit Work

Most of Judy Chantry’s professional career has been rooted in the nonprofit sector. Over the years, she has held roles of executive leadership for the benefit of nonprofit organizations like JC Rodgers, Urbana University and Ave Maria University. In all of her efforts, her mission remains clear: to establish sustainable approaches within the nonprofits she works for. Her focus as a Nonprofit Advancement Executive is always to build fundraising infrastructure. In many instances, this approach has led to the development of divisions and departments within larger organizations in order to maintain sustainability as effectively as possible.
Even when Judy Chantry isn’t working — she’s still advocating for nonprofits! Calling on her lifelong passions for art and nature, Judy loves supporting initiatives that emphasize the importance of creativity and the environment. She supports numerous organizations that foster art, creativity and nature, including:
